My approach to counseling is simple: You can change. You can change your mind, your heart and the direction of your life. As a fervent life-long seeker of meaning and understanding of the human experience, I commit a fearless attitude and tireless ethic to charting your path toward greater happiness, purpose and peace. 

My therapeutic role is to empathetically hold a safe space for you to share your story. Bring both your joy and pain, your triumphs and failures, but please leave the shame and facade! We’re going to work together to set mindful goals, implement emotional strategies, develop healthy habits, and more deeply explore your identity. Breathe. You can feel better now. We will rewrite some of the stories and patterns from the past that have you feeling different, stuck, unseen, broken, useless or unworthy.

I use an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating evidence based therapeutic models to counsel adolescents and adults navigating mood disorders, including depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, parent-child relationships, challenging life changes, faith transitions and spiritual deconstruction. I have extensive experience with Borderline Personality Disorder and offer treatment and hope through a combination of modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills.
